Diamond Reaming Shell

Description:
This reaming shell is usually made from steel body, polycrystalline diamond and carbide powder. It is used to join core barrel assembly to diamond drill bit. Lined with natural diamond, the diamond reaming shell is suitable to clean drill holes and stabilize the drilling.
The diamond adapter coupling is used for stabilizing the core barrel. It's equipped with core threads on both sides. We use it to keep the hole in a certain size.

Our diamond reaming shell is composed of impregnated diamonds and surface set natural diamonds reaming shell with high-quality diamonds and spiral waterway. Water conducted by the spiral waterway washes away the debris.

There are impregnated and surface set reaming shells with natural diamonds.
Impregnated diamond reaming shell is with synthetic diamonds on the surface of the reamer pads.
Surface set natural diamonds reaming shell is large size natural diamonds placed in the pads.

Also there are magnum and premium diamond reamers made from tungsten carbide lead to a longer service life by decreasing erosion of the pad. Magnum reamers are made up of tungsten carbide and TSD pins, while premium reamers contain the most natural diamond in all the reamers.

1) The "heavy duty" reaming shell
The "heavy duty" reaming shell is utilized in all formations for broken and abrasive rocks.  The specifications: AQ, BQ, NQ, HQ, PQ, NMLC, HMLC, AWT, BTW, NTW, NWD4, BWG, NWG, BWM, NWM, BWT, and NWT.

2) 10"reaming shell
Its purpose is to protect the outer tubes and drill rods and make the drilling stable.  The specifications of 10" reaming shell include AQ, BQ, NQ, HQ, and PQ.

3) 18"reaming shell
18"reaming shellis also used to protect the outer tubes and drill rods and make the drilling stable.  The specifications of this 18" reaming shell are AQ, BQ, NQ, HQ, and PQ.

4) Sweden standard diamond reaming shell
It is applied in double core barrels drilling.  The specifications of Sweden standard diamond reaming shell: T2 56, T2 66, T2 76, T2 86, T2 101, TT 46, T6 76, T6 86, T6 101, T6 116, T6 131, T6 146, LTK 48, LTK 60, HWF, PWF, SWF, T6S 101, and T6H.

Two types of reamers can be used in all standard drilling sizes as well as a number of region-specific sizes.

1. Magnum Reamers
Our magnum reamers are made up of tungsten carbide and TSD pins. They are used for gathering core samples which would not be contaminated by natural fragments.


2.Premium Reamers
Premium reamers contain the most natural diamond in all the reamers. They are used to protect the hole gauge to extend service life.

To maintain hole diameter，we need to alternate two reaming shells in each drilled hole. When changing bits, the diamond reaming shell should be examined for wear. Failure to follow these recommended practices could result in an unstable bit or an undersized hole which requires costly reaming.
